fotoVoyager is the photographic nom de guerre of William Fawcett (that’s me opposite in a photo taken by my daughter – what you can’t see in this image is me shouting ‘don’t drop my camera, hold it properly!’).

I’m a professional travel and location photographer specialising in cinematic vistas of places we’d all like to go. Unfortunately for me that means getting up at 4am to catch the sunrise, carrying 25kg of camera equipment and overcoming my fear of heights as I hang over a crumbling medieval tower, off a rusty via ferrata or out of a hot air balloon, not lounging about in cafés or sunbathing despite what my family think when I disappear for a week.
