Pic of the pops 2008

 

Best of 2008. Composite of some of my favourite images of the past year. All images © fotoVoyager 2009.

Since I regularly listen to and enjoy Jim Goldstein’s EXIF and Beyond photography podcast, I though I’d participate in his ‘your best images of 2008′ project. As I reckon I shoot about 50,000 images per year (though I probably have a 20 to 1 shooting ratio, so that 50,000 only produces about 2500 good usable images) it’s no easy task to sort through them. I’ve had a go though, and you see the results above. Here are the image details:

1. Cloudscape over the  Empire State Building, New York, USA.

2. Sunset in the Reichstag Dome, Berlin, Germany.

3. Sunburst over Mont Blanc, Haute-Savoie, France.

4. Child with chickenpox, UK.

5. Tribute in light and waterfall installation, New York, USA.

6. Hot air balloon flight over green landscape, UK.

7. Viccolo vertical, Venice, Italy.

8. Red phone box, Isle of Skye, Scotland.

9. Puerta de Europa, Madrid, Spain.

10. Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales.

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at my images as much as I’ve enjoyed making them. 2009 promises to be an even busier year with many interesting locations to look forward to.
